Global Private Funding has supported the UNDP through the launch of a tractor trailer-based mobile school, equipped with Satellite-based content delivery. This mobile school has the ability to travel to remote regions with Africa, providing a stable source of education to children during the day and to adults at night, teaching the basics of family planning and AIDS prevention. Later a second trailer was added as a mobile clinic, staffed by volunteers. There are many ways individuals as well as corporations can support the UNDP.

Current UNDP Efforts : Liberia Microfinance Improving the economic situation of women is key to peace-building efforts in Liberia following a civil war that tore the country apart and left 75 percent of its people in extreme poverty. UNDP, with funds from Denmark, has set up revolving microloans that provide funds to women entrepreneurs, many of whom are heads of households.
